The Oregon Supreme Court heard two cases at the University of Oregon School of Law on Thursday March 13, 2014. First year “Legal Research and Writing” (LRW) students used this as an opportunity to see attorneys in action as they presented oral arguments. LRW students will be participating inmock oral arguments the week after Spring Break. Following each case, the Justices graciously took the time to answer student questions and provide insight into their backgrounds, procedures, and what types of arguments they found particularly persuasive.
On behalf of the First Year Class I would like to thank the Oregon Supreme Court for taking the time to come to Eugene and interact with us.
